Clark Gateway

Clark International Airport (CRK) is where the Cebgo and AirSWIFT turboprops to Siargao and Naga now leave from. This is the logistics page for the connection: where to sleep, where to eat, how the buses and transfers reach Manila, and who rents a car or motorbike.

Researched

This gateway page is a first, light version. Every listing is a real local business found on paper and not yet verified in person; prices, hours and details are strong starting points, not gospel.

Logistics

Getting There

Clark International Airport (CRK), in Pampanga north of Manila, matters for surf trips because since 29 March 2026 all Cebgo and AirSWIFT turboprop flights operate from Clark, not Manila (reported on the Manila Gateway page). Cebu Pacific's Siargao turboprop flights leave from Clark six times a week (reported on the Siargao zone page), and the Naga route, the way into the Bagasbas area, now flies only from Clark, three times a week (reported on the Manila Gateway page). The site's research on international arrivals into Clark is limited, so check your airline for the routing.

Register free on the government's eTravel system within 72 hours before arrival, and use only etravel.gov.ph. US and EU passports are visa-free for 30 days with a return or onward ticket and a passport valid six months beyond your stay, and the stay can be extended through the Bureau of Immigration (reported on the Philippines entry page). Rules depend on your passport, so check the official source before you book. The full list is in Getting Into the Philippines.

Logistics

Getting Out of the Airport

  • To Manila (NAIA): Clark International Airport lists Genesis point-to-point buses to NAIA at PHP 450 each way, with free rides from NAIA Terminal 3 announced from 1 April 2026 (reported on the Manila Gateway page). See the Manila Gateway.
  • At the airport: taxis at the arrivals exit and the Grab pickup at Bay 8 (reported).
  • Boards: Cebgo and AirSWIFT turboprop routes carry Cebu Pacific's 6 ft surfboard limit with case (reported on the Manila Gateway page), so a longer board needs another routing.

Board & Luggage Storage

We found no surf shop or board-repair business near Clark that we could place with confidence, and every luggage-storage listing we found belongs to a network, which we leave out. Ask your hotel to hold board bags, and see the Manila Gateway page for board-bag rules on the domestic legs.
